So its been a while since I last posted, reason being that i have been scheduling's personal punching bag since I came online in February. I haven't had much time to do much anything with respect to the digital space. Been adventure after adventure and a couple of unique individuals I have had the pleasure to fly with. Not all have been good and not all bad either.
As I previously posted I had been assign an upgrade slot for CA at ExpressJET, so far I have 1 more hurdle to get over and then onto OE which will more than likely be sometime in January to start out the new year. Of course new rules will be in place, I won't be flying as much as I did prior to upgrade. Good thing in this regard since the amount of hours as a senior FO was around 90-95 to be able to pocket just a small amount of cash for a rainy day, as CA it will be slightly different story since the pay increase is around 51%, (8 year pay FO to 8 year pay as CA), but it still is not what it should be considering the contract we currently fly under is concessionary as is the one we are currently voting on. I will wipe my ass with this vote, as I did the previous concessionary vote… In the mean time I have been studying my ass off, getting dizzy in the stimulator, good times had by all J.
I was finally awarded position of captain at Expressjet (7 years, almost 1 month to the date, guess the 18 months originally quoted was a rough guess :O ). Not exactly sure how I feel about it. I have a lot of shit do to before I head to training on Nov 11, 2013. Lots of studying to be done shortly. My brain has been hurting just thinking about the shit that I do and don't know like the back of my hand. The one upside is I will actually start logging PIC again (TURBINE PIC drool). LOL the 4000 hours of SIC was more than enough imo. What I really should be working on is getting my times in my log book verified with the desktop so I don't have to turn in an application with shitty off by some weird number errors to United.
